Man City Vs AEK Athens:

Manchester City coach Enzo Maresca, continues to monitor Erling Haaland's condition for minor injuries. He wishes Haaland could play in a fight against AEK Athens.

Manchester City will host AEK Athens at Etihad Stadium in Wednesday's Champions League continued fight (21 / 10 / 2026). Both teams have the same points in the championship as three.

Man City is currently ranked 17. Meanwhile, AEK is in 20.

The Citizen is hunting for victory in this fight to improve position in the championship. They're favorite to reach three,

This is because Man City has better player material than AEK.

Man City was worried without Erling Haaland's engine in the attempt to score three points in this fight. Haaland suffered injuries in Man City's last fight when winning 3-2 over Ipwich in the British League.

Coach Man City, Enzo Maresca, made sure that Haaland was not seriously injured. This Norwegian attacker is most likely able to play against AEK.

However, Maresca will continue to monitor Haaland's condition. He won't force Haaland to play if he's not fit enough.

Although, he admitted covering Haaland's absence wasn't easy. Given that Haaland is still a Man City goal machine with 12 goals from 10 fights this season. Maresca has already set up options if Haaland is absent.

"He might be able to perform. We'll see. We're going through a training session right now, and there's some doubt after last Sunday's game," the Maresca was quoted from the Man City website.

"He was in pretty good shape yesterday. Just keep getting better. So, let's see today.

"Replacing Erling is always difficult. We have some different options and we'll see about tomorrow. It's a little dependent on the game plan, and there's a chance he could perform tomorrow," obviously.
