Cookies and local storage
We use no advertising or tracking cookies and no analytics. These cookies and storage items are used:

Embedded services
- YouTube (youtube-nocookie.com): videos load only after you click “Load video” or if you chose “Accept all”. Data such as your IP address is then sent to Google.
- Fonts from Bunny Fonts (fonts.bunny.net): loaded when you open the page; your IP address is sent to the provider (legitimate interest in a consistent display).
- Weather, pollen and exchange rates (Open-Meteo, German Weather Service, European Central Bank) are fetched by our server; none of your data is sent.
Newsletter “Morning briefing”
We store your email address, language and confirmation time. Mail is sent only after you confirm via a link (double opt-in). Every email has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing deletes your address.
Comments and notice board
Comments and notices are reviewed before publishing. Name, text and, for notices, the contact details you give are shown publicly. Notices are hidden after 30 days.
Server logs
When you open the site, the server processes technically necessary data such as IP address, time and page requested in order to deliver the site and prevent abuse.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
