Six Transjakarta routes adjusted due to demonstrations at Monas and City Hall, three route shortened and three routes diverted.
Six Transjakarta routes experience a service adjustment due to demonstrations surrounding the Monas and Jakarta City Hall. The adjustment includes travel shortages on three routes and reroute on three other routes.
Head of the PR department and CSR Tranjakarta Ayu Wardhani say the update of service adjustment was performed at 4: 00 PM.
Three travel routes are route 6B, route 6A, route 6A, and route 1A.
As a result of that, route 6B and 6A are temporarily not serving the city hall.
As for the three travel routes, it's route 2A (Crocodile Swamp 1), route 2 (Theatre 1-Monas), and the 1P route.
Route 2A and route 2 temporarily do not serve the city hall and the Monas Halte. Meanwhile, Route 1P does not serve bus stops IRI Monas and bus stop Gambir 2.
"Other routes are currently operating normally. The service will be re-adjusted conditionally following a traffic situation in the field," said Ayu.
Tranjakarta is luring customers to adjust travel plans and monitor the latest information via Transjakarta applications and corporate social media accounts.
The operational adjustment is situational and will follow the progress of traffic conditions around the demo site.
