Arsenal - A team made to hurt FC Bayern

When FC Bayern receives Arsenal in the Champions League on Wednesday, he does not want to make the same mistakes as he did a year ago. But Londoners are still the same unpleasant opponent. From Victor List If you take the last game, FC Bayern goes as favorite in the Champions League game against Arsenal on Wednesday (from 20.45 clock in the audio stream of the sports show). While the Munich RB Leipzig sent home in the Bundesliga with 6:1, the Premier League champion struggled to achieve a 1-0 victory at Nottingham Forest. But of course that would be too simple. FC Bayern after the Stavanger-Blamage under Zugzwang After all, the London reigning Premier League champions and missed the title in the Champions League only in the penalty shooting against Paris Saint-Germain. They would also like to bring him in Munich, after they had failed last year to the French conceivably just in the semi-finals. After the Norwegian weeks in the premier class (Bodö and Stavanger), the duel with Arsenal is the first real test for coach Vincent Kompany’s team. Even against Stavanger, Bayern left points in the previous week and are already under pressure. Against the Gunners, it should not directly set the next defeat. Will Arsenal become an impossible task again? That the team of coach Mikel Arteta is not too pleasant an opponent, FC Bayern had to experience already last season. At that time they met in the league phase at Emirates Stadium in London. The masters of the house showed the boundaries of the Munich 3-1. With a safe defensive and lightning-fast switching moments, they made Kompanys Bayern look three times old. So exactly the style of play that FC Bayern is currently facing great problems again and again. The then insoluble Londoners are likely to become a difficult task again on Wednesday. The defensive approach has kept Arteta’s team and with only five goals together with the surprise team Brighton is the best defense in the Premier League. The Londoners scored three goals in a duel with coach Fabian Hürzeler, Brighton & Hove Albion. In the premier class, Arsenal beat Naples away (1-0) and won 3-0 at home against the OSC Lille. Arsenal has revolutionized standards Everything no glamour performances, but for spectacle Artetas football does not stand either. Instead, the English master relies on standard situations and has almost perfected them. Arsenal deliberately overloads the five-meter room to hinder the enemy goalkeeper. In addition, all corners are knocked directly in front of the goal. Second, last season, half of all Arsenal goals resulted from standards. At the end of the Premier League season was a new record. FC Bayern also conceded the 0:1 after a corner in said game. FC Bayern has to give up on difference player Olise For the renewed meeting, however, the people of Munich will have to be offensively smarter. Again and again they ran away in the London defense bulwark and were countered. The "deep block" is now a kind of non-word of the year in Munich, the Bavarians are regularly against low-level teams hard. Stavanger and Schalke are just two examples that have shown how to drive Kompany’s team to despair. And now comes a team that has perfected this way of playing and implements it with absolute top players. One who finds gaps where there are actually none is Michael Olise. But the difference player will be missing after his place reference. Replace in Lennart Karl, who scored the only Munich goal a year ago. From his former form, the 18-year-old is currently still far away. So it will not be an easy task for FC Bayern against FC Arsenal. At the same time, the people of Munich can show what they have learned from the bankruptcy a year ago.
