Calling Off the Loan from SMI, West Java Governor Chooses to Optimise the 2026 Budget

The Provincial Government (Province) Jabar cancelled to apply Rp3.4 trillion loans to PT Sarana Multi Infrastructure (SMI) to close the fictional deficiency.

Governor Jabar Dedi Mulyadi (KDM) states, Prov will optimize the available budget. While not taking loans, construction programs of 2026 are confirmed to be carried out on a priority scale.

"We are speeding so that in the next two and a half months all jobs can be completed and achieved by a target by 100 percent. Enough money, no? Let's say we manage the money well. Even though the funding for the pending results, we're fast-building," KDM-based.

Admittedly there's a fiscal deficiency, KDM optimization that proper budget management will be able to cope with that condition, without having to file a loan to the SMI PT.

"Let's just optimize the existing budget, there will be at least a delay in paying. That's 2026 will be paid in 2027. It's a good thing for the government, because it can still build on a penniless loan and the burden of paying interest," it adds.

Furthermore, KDM sends thanks to West Java DPRD who has always supported the budget development and management programs so that the spending is targeted.

The appreciation is also delivered to the Ministry of Interior, which consistently gives direction and guidance regarding budget management.

"Surely thanks to the people of West Java who pay taxes on time. Without a motorized-vehicle taxpayer, Western Java provectors certainly can't be helped," KDM retrieval.
