A vault-shaped metal object was found in a palm plantation in the East, suspected Chinese rocket debris Zhuque 2E.
A large-sized, mysterious metal object was found in the middle of a palm plantations in the Kotur District, East Kalimantan.
At least two points of the mysterious metal object found in Agro Hill's PT palm plantations, KM26, Kotas. On Sunday (18 / 10), a number of Kotim residents claimed to hear a thump.
On Tuesday (20 / 10) this was found in the shape of a dome with wires and components still attached. Now the location of the dome's findings has been surrounded by police lines to keep the scene of the crime.
The day before that, Monday morning (19 / 10), was also found also a large metal mysterious by the palm orchard worker of the company. For the discovery of the mysterious metal on Monday, the relevant party confirmed it was suspected of a fragment of a Chinese satellite carrier, Zhuque 2E.
"According to the information received from BRIN, it was part of China Zhuque 2E's rocket that crashed in the Kottim region (18 / 10 / 2026), around 17.36 PM," said the Person in Charge (PIC) the Civil Aviation Team (CAPT) Airport H Asan Sampit, Zachrudien, Monday night, quoted from the former section.
He said that confirmation was obtained after the HAsan Sampit Airport coordinated with BRIN and the National Transportation Safety Committee.
Before getting information on the materials found on Monday, the H Asan Sampit Airport along with TNI and Polri have traced the location of discovery. Coordinates are also done with the VII County Airborne Authority of Balikboard, KNKT, and BRIN.
"It has now been evacuated to Landd Isdrive Bus Base for further identification and for safety's sake," the story.
Another clue to the origin of the object was also found in the marker that was shown in the splinter section. On it is a complete code of '2ZQE31-20-15 240256KY'. The marker became one of the clues in the process of searching the background.
KNKT looks at the code '2ZQE31-20-15' which is judged as similar to Chinese satellite rocket, Zhuque 2E.
From the coordination, it was confirmed that the debris found was part of a Chinese satellite carrier rocket.
Related to the discovery of a major, mysterious metal object this Tuesday, has also been confirmed by 102 / Panju PCape Regiment Command.
"Right. We've been monitoring that information. Member has now been deployed to the location," said Intel Pasi Korem 102 / Panju Pondau Major Inf Anf Suwiatmojo when confirmed, Tuesday was quoted from a Calimantan second.
In plain sight, it has a curved shape like a dome or half a circle.
The surface appears to be made up of several parts with layers of rivets or rivets still in sight. The object was lying among the spread palm plantations.
In viral amateur video footage, the findings on Tuesday suddenly seized the attention of palm-orchard workers. They come to the location to look closely at the faded yellow object. Some of the citizens recorded the findings using cell phones, while others tried to guess the nature of these unusual objects.
This discovery adds to the mystery after the day before which the Kotim citizens were rumored to hear a loud thumping noise followed from the sky, last Sunday afternoon. Then, on Monday, citizens also found large enough metal fragments in the same region, which is supposedly part of a liquid rocket fuel tube.
A series of those events bring up a variety of assumptions in the society. The shape of a curved object, the existence of wires, and the appearance of metal fractions in close proximity, allows some citizens to associate it with rocket components or space objects.
They don't come close, touching, let alone move foreign objects found in the field. Although the shape and material resembles the rocket's components, they're not enough to confirm the identity or danger level.
"There are still some fragments that are currently unaccounted for. We ask that anyone find any foreign objects immediately report to the officers," firm Brimob members who are on standby from the Kalimantan seconds.
Farm workers are asked to move away if they return to an object unknown and report it to the authorities. Further tests are required to ensure the origin of the object, while anticipating the possibility of any more debris being scattered in the Kotim farm area.
On the other hand, KNKT has coordinated with flight navigation services, AirNav Indonesia, as well as a number of aircraft operators. From the coordination, there were no reports of aircraft missing in connection with the incident.
Search the re-entry path or reentry debris into the atmosphere also shows a trajectory that crosses the area where debris was found. Further identification of the debris that has been evacuated is still under way to confirm the details of the object.
