Regent of the Bogor Inventory Factory Channel is suspected of the Cilenesian River Cemetery

Regent Bogor Rudy Susmanto responded to the conditions of the black River Cilenesia in the Limusnunggal Village, Cilenesia Cemetery, Bogor County. He said his side has followed up on the report.

"Yesterday we got a report, so today and yesterday afternoon the Environmental Service went on to follow-up steps," said the local Chief of the Ringang Jamhari, Tuesday (20 / 10 / 2026).

His subjects have been deployed to inventory the plant's channel which is suspected to trigger the water pollution. Several channels have been sealed off as well.

"So from yesterday we've set up some channels that have no clearance, we've done closing, but the number of factories is hundreds," he said. "We continue to do inventory and also at the end of the year we, the bogor county government, build some IPAL (waste water disposal installation)," plus him.

According to him, some of the drains aren't just industrial areas. There are channels from a number of places before entering the River Cilenesia.

"We hope that the best solution may be, there may be fast steps, and that the reach of the River Cileworks that has been going on for dozens of years, even decades, can be done in a few moments,"

Linked to the cesspool closing, Rudy says there are some multinational-scale companies whose permits are under the authority of the central government.

"There is a permit which is the authority of the district government. We had a relationship with several companies yesterday. We say that we love our society that works there, but the company also has to love the environment, then we have to find a solution together," bright.

He has asked the company to repair his waste line. Because, the problem at Cilenesia River has been going on lately.
