The CEO of the Philosopher League, Ryan Gozali, the optimistic development of football students in East Java will be accelerating. He assessed team skills and college seriousness in recruiting players into a positive signal for a more competitive competition.

According to him, the improvement of the student sport quality cannot be achieved instantaneously. It takes time and process for colleges to build a strong team and create a healthy competition.

In the competition, the University of Surabaya (UNESA) became the champion of the son sector after beating the Poor State University with a score of 2-0. Meanwhile, the UM secured the title of the princess sector champion, while Dr. Soetomo (UNITOMOO) placed third in the son sector after winning 3-1 over Surabaya University (UBAYA).

Through this competition, the Philosopher League is expected to continue to promote campus football as well as open up the opportunities for students to step higher, including professional competition.
