It's about the floating wirtz continues

Andoni Iraola continues to get questions about the Florian Wirtz, who is deemed to have yet to shine in Liverpool. Iraq calls Wirtz the last two matches.

Wirtz was deemed to have not met his expectations in Liverpool. Since it was purchased from Bayer Leverkusen last year at over 100 million paun, he is still minimal contributions.

Only six goals and nine asis listed as 23-year-old quarterback so far. But, two out of nine, he was banned in the last two appearances against LASK and Brentford.

For Iraq, those two Asis proved Wirtz still had a lot to offer. He feels that even when the players perform okay, appreciation is not properly rewarded.

"I think he came with two very good looks. He played very well in the fight against LASK and also against Brentford a while back," Said Liverpool's manager.

"You ask him about him almost every day and we analyze him and look at everything about him deeply, but when he does, it's fair to admit it."

Liverpool will be facing Villarreal at the Matchday 3 Champions League in Anfield, Wednesday (21 / 10 / 2026) early day of WIB.
