DPKP Kalsel I'll destroy Rp250 Million Help Vegetable Seeds for 65 Posyandu

South Kalimantan distributes the help of posyandu vegetables and drug plants worth Rp250 million. This help was given to 65 posyandu scattered in 13 districts / cities to optimize the utilization of the yard and encourage the independence of family food.

The head of the Horticulture Field DPKP Kalsel, Amir Sahlan, in the New Flood, Tuesday, explains that this program is a support for agricultural sector of posyandu services. Specifically, this program supports the achievement of Minimal Service Standard in housing and development.

"During 2026 we helped posyandu in 13 districts, each five posyandu. The help provided is the seed of vegetable plants and medicinal plants," Amir said.

He detailed, every district / city gains a budget allocation around Rp19.25 million for seed provision. The total budget of this program reached Rp250 million allocated to all target areas in South Kalimantan.

A symbolic aid handover was carried out in Tabalong District and a New Town district a while back. Next, the distribution of five posyandu in the South River Hulu District is scheduled on October 29th. For other districts / cities, channeling will be done by adjusting the specified time.

Amir said, this program pushed the posyandu cader to be the main driver in the utilization of the yard through the practice of power. The seeded seeds consist of different kinds, among other chili, tomato, celery, saffron, ginger, lime, and other plants.

"We hope the initial stage of this posyandu cadre is first done planting the seeds. In the future, they can educate people to plant in their own backyard," he said.

According to Amir, the concept of utilizing the yard is not limited to the front page alone. Side land, back of the house, and any other possible areas to plant can also be used to support the needs of food and plants of family medicine.

Amir wishes this program could expand and expand over the next year through the support of district / city government budgets. Thus, posyandu can act not only as a center of service, but also as a plant education tool to improve Kalsel food sustainability.
