Support Asta Cita, Expanding BRI UMKM financing and empowerment

Entering two years of President Prabowo Subianto's reign and Vice President Gibran Raka on October 20, 2026, the Indonesian People's Bank PT (brasero) Tbk or BRI continues to strengthen its contributions in encouraging the incremental and sustainable economic growth.

In terms of national development in Asta Cita, BRI accelerates various programs to extend access to financing, increases the capacity of microbusiness, small, medium, strengthening food resistance, and pushing economic alignment to the village.

BRI's support for Asta Cita was created through a number of funding and empowerment programs.

1. UMKM credit distribution Tembus Rp1,235.4 Trillion

BRI's support against the globalized economy was reflected on the size of the financing that was transferred to the UMKM offenders.

That's the equivalent of about 75.1 percent of the total portfolio of the service credit. This capalian confirms the position of UMKM as one of the main segments of the BRI financing in support of public economic activity and promotes national economic growth.

Through the financing, BRI sought to expand the opportunities of the entrepreneurs to develop business, to improve productivity, and to strengthen the competition in the midst of economic dynamics.

Bri has been consolidating national food resistance by expanding access to productive financing for entrepreneurs in the agricultural sector. Until the end of the 2026 II, the BRI financing to that sector reached Rp239.46 trillion.

This move is in line with both government Asta Cita, especially in favor of its manifestation of national food self-preservation.

Through wider mobility access, BRI encouraged farmers to increase productivity, to develop effort, and optimize production. The financing was also part of an effort to strengthen the economic foundations of the society that depended on the agricultural sector.

The BRI support the strengthening of economic sustainability and food resistance also reflected through the distribution of people's effort credit.

Until the end of September 2026, the realization of the BRI KUR distribution reached Rp167.01 trillion to 2.7 million debtors. That's the equivalent of 87.9 percent of the total allocation of the BRI KUR in 2026 is Rp190 trillion.

Of the total distribution, the size of Rp114.76 trillion or 68.71 percent is directed into the production sector. The agricultural sector, hunting, and forest sector became the largest recipient, which is up to 42.82 percent.

The distribution of funding to the productive sector is expected to strengthen the economic activities of society as well as support the government's agenda in increasing food resistance and developing the business of the people.

Four. Holding Ultra Micro Open Millions of Ethics Opportunity Society

BRI also supports economic alignment and increased public well-being through Holding Ultra Mikro involving Madani National Modelings (PNM) and PT pawnshop.

This ecosystem was designed to expand public access to formal financial services and provide business funding to the needs and development of the business.

Through that approach, ultra micro-entrepreneurs are expected to develop business capacity and increase productivity to be able to rise. Thus, they have a greater chance of accessing the funding and financial services.

Until quarterly II 2026, Holding Ultra Mikro had served 33.8 million active debtors and managed over 166 million micro savings accounts. This synergy also drives around 2.3 million increasing debtors.

The BRI contribution to improving public well-being is also manifested through the support program of 3 million houses.

Until September 2026, the distribution of house ownership subsidies reached Rp19.81 trillion to over 144,000 debtors.

The financing through the Liquidity Facility Schemes (FLPP) dominated that distribution by 98 percent, reaching about 14,000 beneficiaries throughout Indonesia.

Over 2026, the realization of the FLPP BRI distribution reached 28,084 units, growing 22.58 percent by the year. These capians reflect increased support for subsidizing houses to expand public access..
