A city’s progress is also measured by the government’s ability to expand access to education, healthcare and social protection, particularly for vulnerable groups.
Governor DKI Jakarta, Pramono Anung claims that the construction of Jakarta should be oriented to real needs and benefits for society, especially vulnerable groups.
According to Pramono, the city's progress is not only measured based on the development of physical infrastructure or monumental projects, but also of government skills expanding access to education, health and social protection.

These three fields became the basis of policy to ensure development can be felt evenly, including by a society that has economic limitations.
Pramono reminds us, the government needs to reach out to various groups of people, starting with informal sector workers, public transportation drivers, micro, small, middle-aged entrepreneurs, to young people who haven't had a chance to develop yet.
Therefore, the construction of Jakarta must be directed not only to strengthen the competition of the economy, but to also open up a wider opportunity for society to improve well-being and quality of life.
Further, Pramono took alumni GMNI contributes to escorting the direction of Jakarta development. He thinks, experience, expertise and alumni networks can support a more responsive policy drafting of society.
He assessed the development of the city requires a wide variety of parties so that policy can be arranged with the orientation of economic growth, the setting of opportunities, and the public interest.
"The role was increasingly important because the future of Jakarta was not only determined by the government. It's determined by how governments, academics, the business world, the civil society, the community, the media, and all citizens work on mutual interest," the tour.
In the same forum, the Governor also emphasizes the importance of translating the values of the Pancasila into public policy.
He called it, the spirit of nationality is not enough to only be delivered to forums or ceremonial activities, but it needs to be realized through an inclusive development and side with the needs of society.
Pramono hopes that collaboration between government and various public elements can strengthen Jakarta's move towards global cities without ignoring the unification of development, environmental sustainability, and nationality.
"Let us present the development that is not only fast, but in the right direction to be a comfortable global city for its citizens, productive for the economy, sustainable for the next generation, and also open to the world without losing themselves as part of Indonesia," captured Governor Pramono.
