The KPK Raids 8 Locations in Connection with a Case at the BNPB, Seizing Cash and Cars

Corruption Commission searched eight locations regarding suspected corruption funds ready to use (DSP) hate at the National Counterfeiting Disaster (BNPB).

KPK spokesperson Prasetyo said the search was done since Thursday (15 / 10) until Monday (19 / 10) yesterday. One of the locations being searched is the BNPB office in East Jakarta.

"The objects of its search are at home, office and other locations in the Jakarta area, South Attack, and Engineering. Including the BNPB office with the address on Scout Street, East Jakarta, which was searched on Thursday (15 / 10)," said Budi to the press, Tuesday (20 / 10).

He said that from the search results of several locations, investigators confiscated documents, electronic evidence, money, jewelry, and three car units suspected of being involved in the investigation.

"Next, the investigator will conduct an analysis and ask the party to tell them about the goods that were seized," the report.

In this case, KPK has set up five suspects. These five are BNPB Help and Emergency Management Casualties as well as PPPA's Creator's Office, Gabriel Purwaka Sigit; BNPB Chief Power Lieutenant Suharyanto, Observatory and Richard Erlangga; and a private party called Gery Praseman and Syifa Nika.

KPK states in the case, a number of suppliers of goods and services or vendors is affiliated with the per-way. In three years' time starting 2024-2026 total procurement in the BNPB environment reached Rp148 billion.
