Universal People's Bank PT (BPR) calls a brilliant financial performance with a net profit of Rp18.3 billion to September 2026. It's skyrocketing 115.61 percent compared to the same period the previous year.

Major Director of the University of BPR, Reyhan Satyahadi, revealed that this significant profit growth was followed by an increase in assets and a third-party fundraiser. Total bank assets are up 10 percent annual to Rp2.4 trillion, while DPK is growing 18 percent into Rp1.9 trillion.

"Growth for us is not just about the achievement of numbers, but also how to ensure business is healthy and has long-term relevance," said Reyhan in his statement in Jakarta, Tuesday.

From credit distribution sides, Universal BPR shows his commitment to supporting the real sector. More than 86 percent of the financing is directed for productive activities, including for business capital and business development. This move is part of a bank effort to extend access to the financing for the entrepreneurs.

In the middle of that credit expansion, the asset quality remains well guarded. Entering 2027, Universal PR has prepared a number of strategic initiatives. The program will develop Inclusive Business Credit (KUI) as well as the Universal Mobile Plus digital service.
