The results of academic competition can be used to see the mastery of matter at the same time as the parts that still need to be reinforced students. At an early age to elementary school, the result can also be an evaluation of the next step of learning.
Over 4,400 Kanak-Knak Park educators (kindergarten) class 6 elementary schools (elementary school) went to Olympic Battle (IOB) Rising Star in September 2026. The competition covers three fields, mathematics, English and Science.
In the field of mathematics followed by 1,840 participants, 21.5 percent got 80-100. Out of that amount, two percent of the participants get a perfect 100.
In English, 61.9 percent of 1,545 participants get 80. Meanwhile, 10.4 percent of the participants earn 100.
As for science, 66.6 percent of 1,072 participants get 80, whereas 20.4 percent of the participants get 100. Based on the organizer's data, the highest proportion of perfect value is recorded in science, following English and mathematics.
Head of Partners Indonesian Olympiad Battle Fauzi says, the result of competition is not as important as the ratings. According to him, the value the participants obtained can be used to recognize the occupied capabilities and parts that still need to be developed.
"The Olympics isn't just about who got the highest score. For us, the result that every child earns is part of a learning process to recognize the forces and areas that can still be developed. That way, competition can be an experience that helps a child understand his development," the Fauzi word.
IOB Rising Star followed from kindergarten to 6th grade with difficulty levels on which the numbers and classes are adjusted. In doing the problem, participants are demanding to understand matter, process information, determine the answer carefully, and set the time during competition.
According to organizers, the value can be used by participants to recognize the occupied materials and parts that still need to be reinforced. That evaluation can be a reference to the focus of learning in the next competition and learning process.
"Every result has a story and a process behind it. We hope that the participants not only see the value as a number or a rank, but also use it to understand what they've mastered and what can still be developed. From there, they can continue the learning process with more confidence," said Fauzi.
The results of IOB Rising Star September 2026 have been published via the official organizer website. The coverage of the participants in those three fields shows that the results of the competition can be read not only as ratings, but also as one picture of academic development students.
