Reality TV actor Maurice Dwizak, 28, won the TV show “Celebrity Big Brother” this year. The audience voted him the winner of the Sat.1 show on Monday evening.

Dwizak prevailed in the final against former professional boxer Axel Schulz, 57, and won 100,000 euros in prize money. “I have it,” Dwizak shouted again and again to his triumph in the live broadcast and embraced the defeated Schulz. “Axel, even against you, man—you are the champion.” Later, Dwizak declared, “This victory means so much to me.”

Dwizak has appeared in numerous reality TV formats since 2021, including Love Island, Summer House of the Stars and Jungle Camp.

In the current season of »Celebrity Big Brother«, 14 people lived in a confined space and were monitored by cameras around the clock. In addition to Dwizak and Schulz, the following »celebrities« were among others: No Angels singer Nadja Benaissa, the former »Commissioner Rex« investigator Gedeon Burkhard, the »Sido ex and podcaster« (Sat.1) Gia Georgina, ex-Bavaria player Christian Lell and the actress Anouschka Renzi.

Sat.1 showed a live show for »Celebrity Big Brother« with the presenters Marlene Lufen and Jochen Schropp every day at 8.15 pm, and afterwards »Celebrity Big Brother – The Late Night Show«. Per 24-hour livestream, diehards could watch Joyn as the candidates coped in the garden.

Camera surveillance around the clock is the primordial principle of “Big Brother”, also in its celebrity variant over two weeks. A garden in Cologne was the new setting in this season.

Last year, the candidates had to live on a construction site between wheelbarrows, gravel and mortar. This 13th season from 2025 won in the end actor Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, who prevailed in the final against fashionmaker Harald Glööckler.
