TAUD ASK THE LAW OF ACTIVITY
TAUD is questioning the basis of Greenpeace, Indonesia's arrest laws for protests at Monument Welcome to the HI Circle, Jakarta Center.
The advocacy team questioned the police about the basis of the arrest of six Indonesian Greenpeace activists who climbed the Monuments welcome to the Indonesian Hotel (HI), Jakarta Center, to spread the protest banner on Tuesday (20 / 10) morning.
TaUD representative, Airlanga Julio, said the six activists did this in order to voice public enquiry. Starting with forest fires and land (carhutla), the price soared, and other issues.

"It's set in the bill of rights, set in the norm and setting of the Human Rights Komnas about human rights defender, and they conduct nonviolent peaceful acts," said Airlangga at Metro Jaya Police, Tuesday (20 / 10).
Airlanga says there is no damage or harm to the activities committed by the six activists. In fact, it is said that activists also make sure that every item or item they use is returned to their places and are not abandoned.
"Well, we're still waiting for the status clarity of our colleague, six Greenpeace activists, and we're also pushing for law enforcement to clarify the legal status of six activists," the airlangga mouth.
Another TAUD representative, Daniel Winarta, claims there's no legal basis for the police to take activists to Metro Jaya PD.
"There's no legal basis for what the police are doing right now. To hold a man without a clear status is there is no basis for the law. From the very beginning when it was taken, it was no longer in accordance with the procedure," Daniel said.
Daniel announced his side getting information that early handling was carried out by the Director of Public Crimes Reserse, Metro Jaya PD.
According to Daniel, the criminal terms of the bill are related to destruction or theft of cultural reserve. He confirmed no damage to either the Welcome Monument or the lost goods of the action.
"We figured out why we ended up in a blatant, vague twitch between the Crimus and the Crimes of all kinds, it's because the police are creating, being reformed, wondering what the content could be connected or linked to this case," he said.
On that basis, TAUD urged Metro Jaya police to immediately confirm the law and release all six of the Greenpeace activists.
"We ask Metro Jaya P.D. to allow our colleagues environmental fighters, human rights advocates, to immediately return home to each other because his condition has been exhausting and certainly requires rest," reveal Daniel.
Previously, Metro P.D. Jakarta Center with TNI elements and the D.KI Jakarta Province Government evacuated six of the Indonesian Greenpeace activists who spread banners over the Welcome Monument, the HaI Circle, the Jakarta Center.
Metro Police Chief Jakarta Center, Pol Kombes Reynolds EP Hutagalung, says the six activists are made up of two women and four men who spread a giant banner with a protesting message at 06.05-06.15.
According to Reynolds, one of the women's activists looked weak on the way down so they were taken straight to an ambulance to get medical care at the Biddokkes clinic Metro Jaya PD.
"The six men we can evacuate and leave no one above. We expect a quick measure of treatment from Metro Jaya Police Docs to provide the safety of the six men. We put the safety of our bodies to our brothers who are expressing his opinion on the Welcome Statue," he said, quoted from Between.
