Makassar City Mayor Have Camat@@

The mayor of Makassar Munafri Arifudin ordered all cemat and lurah to reinforce coordination with TNI-Polri's apparatus. This move was taken as a rapid response to the rise of group war that took place at some point in Makassar City.

Munafri's orders were delivered during a coordination meeting with Kodim 1408 / Makassar, Makassar Polrestabes, as well as the entire camat and lurah in Makassar, Tuesday. He emphasized that the fight couldn't just be charged with a security officer.

"The recent events needed to be dealt with together, therefore Makassar City's government along with TNI-Polri had to move together to make sure this matter could be resolved," Munafri told.

Munafri insists that the government at the level of honour and neglect should take an active role by going down directly into society. According to him, the security of Makassar City is a common responsibility that requires real steps, not just coordination on the table.

"It became part of the Makassar City Government's efforts in keeping public safety and order (castibmas), and prevented conflict between groups expanding to other regions," he said.

In his interest, Munafri also warned that the security effort should not only be a responsibility at the scene of the fight. It is also mandatory to engage in active engagement and to prevent widespread conflict or seeping into other areas.

"Don't assume that my territory didn't happen, so there's no need to focus on looking at this. Everything must be anticipated well, because we don't want this conflict to be transmitted to other areas," bright.

As the follow-up, Munafri ensures the night patrol will be carried out regularly by involving the camat, the lurah, the PP Security, as well as the TNI and Polri elements. Not only patrol, the Makassar City Government will also strengthen the environmental security system through correcting post-x posts and community points.
