The rapper arrest warrant has been released from the hospital, according to his manager. He is now being treated in a rehab clinic. This was confirmed by manager Erfan Bolourchi of the news agency dpa on the phone. The musician was released last week. First, the “Bild” newspaper reported about it.
He is doing well and getting better every day, Bolourchi said. However, the arrest warrant must still be operated on the nose. About the background of the operation, the manager did not provide any information. The rapper will now take a longer time off, so the manager.
Arrest warrant, whose real name is Aykut Anhan, had cancelled his concerts in Düsseldorf and Berlin in mid-October. His brother Cem Anhan, known as rapper Capo, said the musician was “under medical supervision.” Arrest warrant comes from Offenbach in Hesse and lives with his family in the Stuttgart region.
In October 2025, a widely acclaimed documentary about arrest warrants appeared on Netflix, in which his fight with cocaine addiction played a central role. The current crisis is obviously linked to this. Anhan had apparently been in a hospital in Switzerland since the beginning of October. According to Bild, he is said to have had a relapse and consumed “up to 30 grams of cocaine”. Because there was acute danger to life, he is said to have been taken to the hospital, placed in an artificial coma and respirated.
The 40-year-old had already announced a performance break in June for health reasons. He referred to the Netflix documentary called “Babo – The Arrest Warrant Story”, in which he had spoken openly about his drug addiction and the consequences of his cocaine use, including serious damage to his nose. In the documentary it is also discussed that he had to be revived after an overdose.
Neither the rapper nor his management have commented on the causes of the current treatment.
