Helene Fischer announces new album for 2026: Maybe even a little "provocative"

Schlagerstar Fischer: “I stand for the fact that we like to party”

Schlagerstar Helene Fischer (42) will release a new album later this year. The announcement placed her in the »Schlagerboom« show (ARD) by moderator Florian Silbereisen, which took place in front of more than 20,000 people in Dortmund. “There will be new music,” Fischer said – and relatively soon. “Tonight I will burst the bomb!” The album will be called WE and will be released on December 4.

Fischer is Germany’s biggest show star. New album releases usually cause a sensation. With songs like “Breathless through the night” and “Rollerbahn” she has already succeeded in several hits.

Silbereisen – with which Fischer was once linked – she also revealed some details about the upcoming record. “I stand for the fact that we like to party, and I think with the new songs we can continue to party really well,” she said. But it also becomes “emotional” and “human”. “It may even become a little – I would sometimes say – provocative.”

On Instagram, Fischer also explained what she associates with the title “WE”. “A little word with so much in it.” It stands for closeness, warmth “and the feeling of belonging together”.
