Immigration Authorities Reveal Nusron Wahid’s Trip to Singapore and Malaysia

The Directorate-General of Immigration is monitoring the trip by the Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency, Nusron Wahid, to Singapore and Malaysia. The Corruption Eradication Commission is considering legal action in relation to allegations of bribery.

The Director of General (Ditarat) Immigration revealed a trail of trips between Minister Agraria and the Office of National Agriculture (ATR / BPN) Nusron Wahid to Singapore and Malaysia.

Director of Immigration General Hendarsam Marantoko says the Nucron trip to Singapore through the Port of Batam, the Riau Islands.

Previously, the Indonesian People's Corruption Coordinator (MAKI) Bombil Saiman suspected Nucron was traveling abroad to avoid KPK inspection on Thursday (15 / 10).

Bojir called Nusron leaving from Jakarta to Batam on Wednesday (14 / 10), the day before the check schedule. From Batam, Nudron was called on a journey to Singapore on a ship, then across to Johor Bahru, Malaysia.

The KPK has previously stated that it's considered the follow-up step towards Nusron after two dates from the check call. KPK spokesman Budi Prasetyo said the investigator will consider the necessary efforts so that the law enforcement process is effective.

The case is related to the alleged bribe for building (HGB) PT Summarecon Supreme Tbk and other receipts in the ATR / BPN Ministry environment. KPK has set eight people as a suspect in the matter.
