Fire KMP Batubath, suspected fire source from the stern

Corporation Secretary PT ASDP Windy Andale says the fire KMP Batur allegedly came from the stern of the ship around 4: 15 PM, precisely in the top decks used to transport small vehicles.

"Alleged while there was a spark from the stern area of the ship. But this is still going through, so we must still be coordinating with Basarnas, the police, doing a follow-up on the cause of the fire," said Windy Andale when he interviewed CNN live Indonesia TV, Tuesday (20 / 10).

Windy confirmed all passengers and crew had been evacuated. Meanwhile, the firefighting process is still under way.

"We prioritize the evacuation process of passengers and also handling conditions on the ground. It was about 5: 00 p.m. That's a passenger and the crew has already evacuated," Find Windy.

About the manifest at KMP Batum, Windy said his side is still waiting for the data from the party on site.

"At this time for passenger data we are still re-confirming. We're also coordinating with all the Stakeholders, all the parties on the ground for the treatment of the victim," he said.

"So far we can tell you that all passengers and crew have been evacuated and no casualties," the flaps.

Meanwhile for the service at Peacock Harbor, he said, still waiting for assurances of the fire.
