Again, Singapore Release 3 Name RI Company Alleged Carhutla
Singapore says three Indonesian companies are now suspected of being responsible for forest fires and land in a number of RI areas.
The Singapore National Environment Agency (National Environment Agency / NEA) declared three Indonesian companies back to be suspected of forest fires and land (carhutla) in a number of RI regions.
In a statement on Monday (19 / 10), NEA called there are indications that all three companies are involved in a carhutla in Indonesia which is potentially reaching the Pride Lands.
Three of these companies are actually PT BMJ, PT MH, and BPP.
NEA claims to send a warning letter to all three companies.
This is the latest announcement from NEA of the investigation into companies that are suspected to be involved in forest fires and land in Indonesia.
On Friday (16 / 10), NEA released a list of seven companies allegedly involved in the carhutla, entirely from Indonesia.
Seven of these companies are initials PT BAP, PT BMH, PT PML, PT SAA, PT SWI, PT HLR, and PT B.
The NEA found the alleged involvement of these companies based on the results of the investigation on the mandate of the cross-border smoke pollution Act.
"Our investigation has so far shown that part of the smoke fog experienced in Singapore came from fires in seven companies in Indonesia," said the Minister of Environment Singapore Grace Fu.
The notice sent by Singapore will personally demand that the company deploy a fire team to put out fires or prevent the spread of fire on their land or control.
The company was also forced to quell the burning activity, not start a new burning, and submit details to NEA about steps taken to put out and prevent new fires.
With the addition of three new companies, there are 10 Indonesian companies suspected of being involved in Karhutla Ri based on Singapore's findings, quoted from the New Asia Channel.
