Traders at Globk-Fan Duit Dozens of Rupiah- Omzet Up 30%

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - a fan and air-conditioner in the West Jakarta Globe Territory claims the sale has been a significant increase since the heat that hit Jabodenbek, where many societies need fans and air conditioning.

As you know, at this very moment, the rising drought is added to El Nino's phenomenon and positive IOD index, making the weather hotter and drier, minimal cloud cover. BMKG records maximum daily high temperatures. In between, maximum air temperatures are recorded at 38.5 ° C in Java West and 38 ° C in Lampung and Central Java on October 17, 2026, while in Eastern Java the maximum temperature is 38 ° C on October 16, 2026.

It turns out, behind a hotter drought like today, the air-conditioner and air conditioner at Globe had a positive impact. Surya, a fan trader in Globk has claimed that there has been an increase in sales by 20-30% since extreme heat weather in Jabobbek.

"Hot as it is, lots of fans may not be able to afford air conditioning. Yes, its rise could reach 20-30%, which in the rainy season was only millions, now it seems like tens of millions are already coming back," said Surya at CNBC Indonesia, Tuesday (20 / 10 / 2026).

It's a pretty affordable price to make a lot of buyers target fans. For the cheapest alone it could reach Rp 200 thousand. Moreover, the side also gives discounts.

"Here it's affordable, plus a discount,

So did Wawan, where there was an increase in sales when the Jakarta weather and surrounding areas were quite hot. She's been at 20% since the heat hit Jabobberi for the last month.

"The more the fans are looking for, the more it's hot in Jakarta. It needs an air conditioner, you don't use an air conditioner, you use a fan,

He also gives an interesting discount to buyers who will buy fans at his shop.

"There's a discount too, so it's getting affordable," said Wawan.

Meanwhile, Delvin, electronic traffickers including AC also claim sales are up to 20%, although the air conditioning prices in their stores reach about Rp 2.5 million to Rp 4 million.

"Quite a ride on the sale, there's about 20%.

His office says if any buyer wants to buy, can ask him first how the air conditioning wants, given the choice of AC depends on the area.

"If we're going to buy, because we're not going to cross the display, so we can ask him first, how much is PK, how big the room, etc., reveal Delvin.
