"We have arranged hotel accommodations for all affected passengers and delivered a huge apology for this inconvenience," write Emirates official statements, citing Times of India's reports.

The replacement plane was finally able to take off from Delhi on Sunday (18 / 10) at 0700 hours local time as scheduled.

The collision incident between birds and planes at Delhi Airport has been reported as significant improvement over the last two years.

Based on the last month's Airborne Environmental Management Committee, authorities identified the poor waste disposal management management and the rising area of open meat sales around the airport area.
