PSG v Barcelona: Putting the Blaugrana’s Winning Streak to the Test

Barcelona have had a perfect start to the season so far. Hansi Flick believes the match against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League will be a real test for Barcelona.

The PSG v Barcelona clash on Matchday 3 of the Champions League will take place at the Parc des Princes in the early hours of Wednesday (21 October 2026) WIB. The match will kick off at 02:00 WIB.

Barcelona travel to PSG’s home ground boasting a 100 per cent record. Lamine Yamal and his teammates have won all 11 matches they have played across all competitions.

Flick therefore believes the match against the reigning Champions League champions of the past two seasons will be a real test for Barcelona.

“This will be a good test for us to show just how far we’ve come,” said Flick, as reported by ESPN.

“I want my team to play with confidence, courage and, of course, to play as a united team. We’ve done that in our last 11 matches; now we’re playing against the best team in the world, if you look at the last two years.”

“For us, this is a great opportunity to demonstrate our level, to show what we’re capable of and (to see) what we need to improve. After this match, we’ll also know a lot more,” he said.
