Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Incorporated As The Best Discovery of 2026

Time magazine just released a list of 2026's finest inventions. Three of Samsung's newest products were selected for this list, including Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Every year, Time magazine chooses and gives awards to a number of innovative discoveries that they think makes the world better, smarter and more fun.

Galaxy S26 Ultra was selected as one of 2026's best inventions for introducing Privacy Display technology. Currently exclusive Privacy Display features are available only at Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Privacy Display acts as a private screensaver that limits the view of the screen so it's hard to be looked at by others in public places. The user can still see the screen's content clearly from the front, but others on the right or left will be difficult.

Contrary to the protective screen of physical privacy, the Privation Display feature can be controlled manually and users can enable this feature across the entire screen or to cover only specific parts.

In addition to Galaxy S26 Ultra, Time magazine also selects the monitor Samsung Odyssey G8 32 inch as one of the best inventions of 2026. This is the first gaming monitor in the industry with 6K resolution.

Samsung Odyssey G8 32 inch using the IPS panel with pixel density 224 ppi. This monitor also supports refresh rate 165Hz at 6K resolution, and the user can switch to Dual Mode which increases refresh rate to 330Hz in resolution 3K.

Samsung Bespoke Al Family Hub's refrigerator was also selected as one of the best invention of 2026 Time magazine.

Samsung also furnished this refrigerator with a SmartThings Food feature that can recommend a recipe based on the available groceries, and a FoodNote widget that can provide a shopping list recommendation.
