The CEO of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, had a habit of communicating that was originally confusing Alexandr Wang, a figure called a magical young man and now his right hand.

In an interview at the Podcast Founders, Wang explained before joining the Meta as chief AI Officer last year, he once called Zuckerberg for business advice. Before Meta, Wang was the CEO and one of the founders of Al Scale Al training data, which made him a billionaire in 2021 at age 24.

Zuckerberg answers Wang's questions through WhatsApp with great detail. "I'm really confused. I wonder, how does he have time to write a reply all this time?" Wang was quoted seconds from Yahoo Finance, Monday (19 / 10 / 2026).

Wang finally realized that Zuckerberg had honed the ability to write quickly and precision. He can act quickly without compromising quality. From Wang's point of view, that's what makes Zuckerberg an incredibly effective communicator.

"He could write a very careful and long answer very quickly. It was a very impressive skill of him," the 29-year-old's cetus.

Wang called Zuckerberg's schedule very tight, so the priority points are very important, not just for his job as CEO but also for keeping time for his family.

"The only way he can do all that, and be a father and a good mate and do all the other things, is to set the priorities firmly," Wang said.

Zuckerberg and Wang's relationship began when Alex Schultz, veteran Meta executive who currently served as the first Chief Data Officer of the company, introduced them. Schultz connected them around 2021 or 2022, when Zuckerberg's interest in AI began to grow.

It took me about a year to arrange their first meeting. Later, Wang once in a while asked Zuckerberg for advice and they talked about it every six months. Meta is also Wang's company client, Scale AI.

The second relationship got tighter April 2025, when Zuckerberg contacted Wang to work closely. At that moment, Meta was struggling to compensate for her rival AI.

Zuckerberg invited Wang to his residence at Lake Tahoe and Palo Alto, where they discussed the future AI, and Zuckerberg believed Wang's judgment and was reported repeatedly quoting his views in various conversations with his advisors.

At first, Wang doubted leaving Scale. But after weeks of discussion, in June 2025 Meta agreed to invest $14.3 billion by 49% shares in Scale. As part of the deal, Wang joined a Meta super intelligence project, and reported directly to Zuckerberg.

Wang uncovered though Zuckerberg had over two decades leading the Meta, he still often asked advice from other prominent businessmen. Wang called the CEO's openness an extraordinary thing.

"I think it's a very impressive trait. It requires humility," it says. Wang himself began to succeed in raising Al Meta with Muse Spark products recently creating an uproar due to his prowess.
