SPD women: Who is sexist here?

SPD women: Who is sexist here?

The SPD women must be careful not to lose credibility. Otherwise, it could happen to them that the “sexism” accusation soon turns against themselves, with which they so generously accuse the men in the Union. After all, what else should it be than reverse sexism when Carmen Wegge, the chairman of the working group SPD-Women, fends off criticism of the Mecklenburg-Western Pomeranian Prime Minister Manuela Schwesig as a fear of the union men “from strong women”? If you wanted to follow this, you could no longer criticize a single woman for anything. This is called a killing argument. A simple tool against the Union? “If women have power, they are not put politically, but personally attacked,” Wegge added. As if men did not do so, see Friedrich Merz. But it was Manuela Schwesig, who aimed with her accusation of “inhumanity” against criticism from the CDU on the pace of the pension reform under the belt – and could not prove the accusation in the end. Perhaps the women (and some men) in the SPD believe that they have found a simple tool against the Union with such morally-feminist charged accusations. You'd better put it out of your hand quickly. Because the hard-won credibility of women, who have to defend themselves against real sexism, could quickly be consumed again.

Strasbourg - European Parliament strengthens rights of travellers

In the EU, the rights of travellers are to be strengthened. In Strasbourg, the European Parliament voted for a law that also obliges third-party providers to reimburse costs in the event of travel cancellations. Any mediation fees incurred must therefore also be repaid.
