Telecom Telecom Indonesia (brasero) Tbk (Telecom) with TelkomGroup strengthens the development of digital infrastructure to support national digital sovereignty. This attempt was also directed to drive Indonesia into a digital connectivity center or Indo-Pacific Digital Hub.
The committee was delivered by the Chief Director of Tellom Nanang Hendarno in the Bali Tech Week (BTW) 2026 at Denmarket, Monday (19 / 10). TelkomGroup became a founding partner in the initialized Ministry of Communication and Digital to unite governments, industrialists, innovators, and technology communities from various countries.
Carrying the theme of 'Archipego Ascending: Advanced Touching, Innovate Further,' this forum becomes a cross-sector collaboration space to connect innovation with investments and translate ideas into real impact for Indonesia and areas.
In his show on 'Indonesia's Next Network: Connecting Indonesia and Global, Building the Indo-Pacific Hub', Nanang expressed a digital transformation not enough to measure the extent of infrastructure or technology being developed. The bigger challenge is how technology can strengthen industrial competition, open up new economic opportunities, and present real benefits to communities all over Indonesia.
"For TelkomGroup, the development of digital infrastructure did not stop at asset and connectivity provision. The infrastructure must be the foundation for economic growth, the creation of value, and the strengthening of Indonesian digital sovereignty. Therefore, we continue to simulate connectivity, technology development, and digital security to support the government's agenda and strengthen Indonesia's position in global digital ecosystem," Nanang in written information, Monday (19 / 20206).
As an effort to support national digital development, Telecombs developed three major pillars, which are the Sovereign Digital Infrastructure, Sovereign & Impact, as well as the Sovereign Trust & Residence. These three pillars become the foundation for expanding connectivity, optimizing technology utilization, as well as maintaining the safety and resilience of digital ecosystems.
At the Sovereign Digital Infrastructure pillar, the TelkomGroup radiates infrastructure capabilities to strengthen and expand domestic connectivity. This attempt includes the development of fiber optic networks, satellite infrastructure, data centers, interconnection between data centers, telecommunications towers, network transceiver stations, and Internet gateway.
The optimization of the Universal Service Obmission in the 3T region (Beyond, Outside) became part of an effort to bridge the digital gap and create an exclusive connectivity from Sabang to Merauke.
To support connectivity that reaches various parts of Indonesia, TelkomGroup manages extensive infrastructure covering over 211 thousand kilometers of domestic fiber optic tissue, three satellites, two community gateways in the East Indonesia region, and 30 data centers with over 500 kilometers of interconnection between facilities. The coverage is supported by more than 40,000 telecommunication towers and 302,000 BTS.
In the Soviet Intelligence & Impact, Telecomomombating self-relieving Al-to--end pillars to push corporate productivity, accelerate local innovation, and extend the benefits of digital economies to small, middle, micro-venture sectors. This strategy is directed to strengthen the independence of national AI capabilities as it opens business opportunities through additional digital services and high-performance computing.
The eco-system of Al TelkomGroup is also supported by telkomsel innovation through the development of a nation-based AI-based solution that answers the needs of society and industry.
In BTW 2026, Telkomsel featured nine AI-based solutions, including Adelia as a search engine and digital assistant, as well as AUREL helping users access information and business summary through chat interactions. Other innovations include AI solutions to digital security, education, and business needs, as part of the effort to expand technology utilization and create extra value for customers.
Meanwhile, through the pillars of the Sovereign Trust & Residence, TelkomGroup strengthens its position as trusted digital partners for corporate sectors and governments. This attempt was made through reinforcement of personal protection, cyber endurance, and global applications in the telecommunication and technology industry. The capabilities are supported by solutions development such as the Software- Defined Wide Area Network (SDK), Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), Post- Quantum Cryptography, and Security Operations Center (SOC) as a Service to maintain security and digital services.
These three pillars are in line with the Ministry of Komdigi's digital transformation agenda through the code of T3, which is to connect, grow, and preserve, which includes the expansion of inclusive connectivity, the utilization of technology to increase productivity and open economic opportunities, as well as digital security reinforcement. In addition, the TelecomGroup transformation supports government agenda through strategy 6C, which includes Wasivity, Competence, Capital, Catalysis / Collaboration, Commerce and Compliance.
The alignment of the strategy is reflected in the 30 TLKM transformation agenda, especially through the Operational & Service Excelence initiative, Unlock Value, and Modus- Operandi Shift. The implementation includes an increase in operational advantage and service quality, a change in how to be more effective and adaptive, optimizing asset value, as well as integrated digital platform development. This transformation is supported by strengthening talent capabilities
