Three strains that are often faced with the Business World

Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Commerce Board (Kadin) launched the White Book of Degregation and Business Solutions of 2026.

Three strains that are often faced with the Business World

In the book, Kadin found at least 107 strategic issues and 407 proposal recommendations in 15 clasters that have been a stumbling block for the land of effort in the Fatherland.

Chairman of the Research, Research, and Business Development Board of Kadin, Didik J. Rachbini, revealed these many obstacles many times making economic costs in Indonesia still high.

The conditions are graded to make the industrial sector difficult to grow at the maximum to drag the national economy to a target of growth of 7-8%.

"Indonesia still faces the challenges of coming out of growth that lasts at about 5%. In a quarter of the I-2026 economy grew 5.29%. This number is worth thanking, but it's not enough to get us to a 7-8% target," said Didik in written description, quoted Tuesday (20 / 10 / 2026).

The thing is, high economic growth doesn't happen by itself. He did this in deregulation and debiractization in the 1980s, the government systematically reduced business barriers, opened investment spaces, encouraged exports, and strengthened the industrial sector.

As a result, industry grew tall and became a locomotive economy.

"Industrial will not work if the business world still faces high economic costs. The source is clear: excessive regulation, lengthy clearance, uncertainty policy, overlap authority, to the inefficient bureaucracy," Did-grade.

Therefore to reach the target of economic growth 7-8%, the diddik assesses economic policy cannot go on as usual alias business as usual.

Industrial should be repositioned as a primary strategy through productive investment, manufacturing export, increasing value, technology mastery, and connection to global production chains.

"In the midst of world trade fragmentation, Indonesia needs to strengthen the orientation of outward looking by exploiting global markets, foreign investments and exports. The countries that have been able to strengthen the industry show that openness to global investment and chain production can be a way to improve technology, productivity, and competition power,

Based on the findings in the White Book of 2026, Kadin mapped the world's barrier of effort into three large groups.

The first group is related to cost and availability of production input that includes 35 strategic issues, such as price uncertainty and industrial gas supply, renewable energy schemes, high levels of logistics distribution, to the cost of dismissal.

The second group highlighted regulatory issues, standard, and legal certainty of 29 issues. The main issue that entrepreneurs are complaining about is the slow environmental consent process, technical impediment to the rules of the Interior Component (TKDN), the application of Indonesian National Standard (SNI), lawful certification, until the need for transition to when the rule changes. K

The third group focuses on market barriers, trade and financing that include 43 issues. The financial sector and financing became the main spotlight because interest rates, collateral, and credit tenors are rated not competitive for entrepreneurs. In addition, the target's cash stream is often compromised due to the late payment of the project by the government and the PPN restitution barrier.

Through this White Book launch, Kadin urged the government to do structural reform through simplification of regulation and bureaucracy in order to restore the role of industry as the main drive of economic growth.

"The industry can only return to locomotive growth if these constraints are removed. This book is the voice of the entrepreneurs, let's escort together so that every recommendation in it is truly carried out," finalizing Didik.
