Vivo V80 Lite Release at RI Carrying Battery 10,000 mAh, Could Be PowerBank
Vivo V80 Lite is officially launched in Indonesia with 10,000mAh batteries, able to function as powerbank. Available in preorder starting October 22.
Vivo V80 Lite was officially released in Indonesia on Tuesday (20 / 10). This smartphone contains 10,000mAh's battery capacity which is claimed to be a powerbank.
Head of Product Vivo and iQOO Calvin Nobel call Vivo V80 Lite the first variant of the V series that contains the battery capacity of 10,000,000 in Indonesia.
"We present the 10,000mAh battery, which is the largest battery capacity we've ever presented in Indonesia for the Vivo series," says Calvin in a media event in Jakarta, Tuesday (20 / 10).
The other specialty is that these batteries are equipped with reverse charging capabilities. This technology was claimed to allow Vivo V80 Lite to be used as a powerbank to power other devices.
Based on internal testing scenarios, Vivo V80 Lite can be used to charge another smartphone power up to two times and TWS devices up to 11 times charge.
Calvin also revealed the difference in the battery capacity of 10,000mAh carried by Vivo V80 Lite with another device. So, what's the difference?
According to Calvin's description, the 10,000mAh battery at Vivo V80 Lite got a Guinness World Records for a record live testing of the longest electronic products by 32 hours.
Calvin calls battery survival testing done not just measuring how long the screen is on, but through a day-to-day simulation of use that includes watching movies, gims, navigation, up to network quality.
"Global teams conduct these tests constantly. There were four people who took turns testing so the test wouldn't break. The tests went on for 32 hours,
Moreover, Vivo V80 Lite carries BlueVolt technology which allows the 10,000mAh battery to be packed with a thinner and concise design. Thus, the user can get large battery capacity without having to carry a smartphone with a thick body.
According to Calvin, devices with thickness between 8.58mm and 8,59mm generally carry 7.000mAh. Whereas, Vivo V80 Lite was claimed to be able to carry a 10,000mAh battery in lean, which is 8.59mm in thickness.
"If looking at devices with similar dimensions, such as 8.59 mm thickness versus 8.58 mm, other smartphones can only carry batteries around 7,000 mAh," Calvin-like.
"This is where BlueVolt technology comes in. This technology allows batteries to be packed thinner and smaller so they can be put into Vivo V80 Lite without compromising the quality of the screen," it adds.
For battery endurance, Vivo V80 Lite was claimed to last up to 15.8 hours to play gym and 29 hours to watch video. In a seven-hour simulation use, the claimed device still leaves about 76 percent power.
Based on internal testing scenarios, Vivo claims the battery can maintain health over 80 percent to seven years of use.
To support the battery's endurance, Vivo supplied a device with six layers of battery protection, one of which is protection against overcharge and heat, as well as features to limit the charge.
"The protection includes night charging protection, overcharge protection, protection against heat and overheating, as well as custom charge limit. For example, the user wants to limit power charge to 90 percent, the settings can be done through Settings," unveil Calvin.
Vivo V80 Lite carrying 6.83-inch AMOLED screens with 1,5K resolution (2,800 x 1,260 pixels). The screen supports 120Hz refresh technology with brightness levels up to 2,000 nit in High Brightness Mode (HBM) mode.
In his kitchen, Vivo V80 Lite ran a MediaTech chipset 7300e with a fabrication of 6nm. This Chipset is accompanied by RAM 6GB LPDDR4X and a 3.1-based UFS of 128GB or 256GB features with extended AM to 12GB.
On camera, Vivo V80 Lite carries 50MP main camera, secondary camera 2MP and wide- angle 32MP camera. This camera is also equipped with features such as AI Erase to remove unwanted objects, Live Photo and Snapshot to perpetuate moving images.
Vivo V80 Lite ran an original 6-based Android 16 integrated with Google Gemini and Circle to Search. The device carries other features such as 5G, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, dual driver and fingerprint sensors on the screen.
