Agnez Mo Makes Her Hollywood Feature Film Debut alongside Nicolas Cage

Agnez Mo is set to make her Hollywood feature film debut in a project that also stars Nicolas Cage. The cyber-thriller, which is entirely in English, is titled C.L.A.Y.

In addition to Cage and Agnez Mo, the film, directed by Simon Afram, will also feature a number of other actors, including Michael Sheen, Jordi Mollà, Emilio Sakraya and Adrian Topol.

As reported by Deadline on Monday (19 October), the project – which is set to begin filming in November 2026 in London – marks Afram’s directorial debut; he previously wrote and produced Simon West’s World War II spy film, *Fortitude*.

“Agnez is a true global artist with a fanbase spanning multiple continents. She is a captivating, bold and intense actress with extraordinary emotional depth,” said writer and director Simon Afram.

“We are delighted to welcome her to this exceptional cast. She is a perfect fit for the world of *C.L.A.Y.*,” he continued.

C.L.A.Y. tells the story of a brilliant computer genius who is overlooked by those around him. He subsequently finds a purpose in life and a sense of belonging when he is drawn into a group called C.L.A.Y. (Clowns Laughing At You).

The group are underground hackers. They carry out daring actions by turning digital provocations into real-world consequences.

As the group’s fame grows, their actions attract the attention of intelligence agencies, criminal syndicates and rival hacker groups.

C.L.A.Y. adds to Agnez Mo’s filmography in Hollywood following her previous success in the fourth season of the Reacher series. Agnez also provided a voice for the animated film Groove Tails, alongside Ansel Elgort, Halle Bailey, Alan Ritchson and Ludacris.

On social media, Agnez Mo herself welcomed the news with great enthusiasm. She even remarked that had the news reached her last year, she would have dismissed it as pure fiction.

Agnez Mo’s popularity surged to second place on the IMDb STARmeter chart when she took on the role of the main antagonist in the fourth season of *Reacher*. Previously, she had been in sixth place on 17 August.

In the space of around 10 days, the singer of ‘Matahariku’ shot to the top of the IMDb STARmeter list, which measures the popularity of figures in the entertainment industry based on public interest.

As of 26 August, Agnez was in second place, alongside a number of Hollywood names, including Hayden Panettiere, Inde Navarrette, Kathleen Robertson and Ella Rubin.
