Fail at KOVO Cup, Megawati with a fixed strength for the Korean League

Hyundai Hillstate remains considered strong for the Korean Voli League 2026 / 2026 after failing KOVO Cup 2026.

Hillstate was knocked out early at the 2026 KOVO Cup after becoming the key to Group B finished swallowing two losses and without winning a set.

It was a huge blow to Hillstate that was considered one of the consistent teams in the Korean volleyball League.

Moreover, the defeat was obtained by Hillstate after a successful Megawati Hanestri Culture as a point printer with Red Sparks in 2023 / 2024 and 2024 / 2025.

In 2026 / 2027, Hillstate became the spotlight. At first, Kang Sung Hyung's foster team had a total remodel.

The Hillstate has been known to be a team of superior forces in the middle blocker sector. After that it's added to the performance of the attacker from both good wings.

But this season is different. Middle blocker Lee Da Hyeon hung at 2025 / 2026, the next turn for Yang Hyo Jin who retired. Practically Hillstate only has Kim Hee Jin in front of the net.

That hole that Kang Sung Hyun immediately needed to find a solution before the Korean volleyball League 2026 / 2027 began in late October.

While from the attack line, Hillstate's powers are still awaiting their proof through the combination of Megawati and Jordan Wilson.

Megatron, Megawati's nickname still proves his mark as an opposite hitter attacker. At his debut in the fight against Hi Pass, Megawati only scored 14 points with 35 percent accuracy of attack.

But in the next fight, the Megawati points add up to 15 points when the collision with GS Caltex. The shocking effectiveness of the attack is increasing by 50 percent.

The statistics indicate the Megawati attack is still sharp. The Indonesian player just needs a deeper match with the Hillstate setter, especially Kim Da In.

So far Kim Da In hasn't had much practice with Hillstate for being busy with the South Korean women's volleyball team after last season.

With time remaining until October 31, Megawati, Wilson, and Da In are expected to capitalize on the momentum of adding acuity to the Hillstate attack before performing at the Korean Voli League.
