Nazara's Finance Minister has stated that his side in the effort to maintain an APBN deficit in 2026 remains at 2.85% target. It was delivered at the Royal Palace, Central Jakarta, Monday (20 / 10 / 2026).

"The deficit APBN remains at the number that we reported to the Budget in July, which was about 2.85% of GDP, which is the outlook that we're guarding and being working on our agenda until the end of the year," he said.

The commitment to keeping deficit revealed is the result of itself revealing a shopping increase plan in this quarter IV year. In the last three months, 2026, the government will be spending the size of Rp 1,300 trillion more than the same time the previous year.

He thinks that increasing government spending can be the driving of economic growth in society.

"It will reach Rp 1,300 trillion in quarter IV, and this is higher than last year. With higher government shopping, there's also this positive effect that we're looking for,
