Invest at 2 Year Prabowo Tembus Rp3,923 T, absorbed 5.48 million workers

The Chief of the Mighty Rosan BKPM Chief of Roeslani recorded the realization of Indonesian investment to Rp3.923.2 trillion over the two years of President Prabowo Subianto.

That investment has been calculated since the IV quarter 2024 to the III quarter 2026 and absorbed about 5.48 million labor.

Rosan says the reach includes investment throughout the IV quarter 2024, a full year of 2025, and January - September 2026.

Of that total, the investment outside Java Island reached Rp2.031 trillion or 51.8 percent, greater than Java worth Rp1,892.2 trillion or 48.2 percent.

"Total investment of Rp3,923.2 trillion. And his labor absorption is 5,485,944 people," Rosan says in press information at the Royal Palace, Jakarta Center, Monday (19 / 10).

From the side of the capital, domestic investment (PMDN) donates Rp1,98.7 trillion or 50.9 percent. Meanwhile, foreign investment reached Rp1,924.5 trillion or 49.1 percent.

In particular, investment realization along January - September 2026 reached Rp1,539.2 trillion or 75.4 percent of the target. That value includes the realization of investment of quarter III 2026 by Rp528.7 trillion and absorbing 2,194,496 labor.

In January-September 2026, domestic investments were recorded Rp761.4 trillion or 49.5 percent, while foreign investments reached Rp77.8 trillion or 50.5 percent.

The outside investment is also larger, which is Rp779.4 trillion or 50.6 percent, compared to Java for Rp759.8 trillion or 49.4 percent.

RosThroughout January - September 2026, a hilirization investment reached Rp480 trillion or 31.2 percent of total investment realization, up 11.3 percent.

The largest investment in hilirization comes from the mineral sector, including nickel, bauxite, copper, and silica sand, with a value of Rp335.1 trillion.

Next, the plantation sector and forest sector reached Rp83.6 trillion, oil and earth gas Rp54 trillion, and fisheries and sea Rp7.3 trillion.

Most of the investment of hilirization goes outside Java Island, which is Rp373.1 trillion or 78 percent. Meanwhile, the hilirization investment in Java reaches Rp106.9 trillion or 22 percent.

Rosan said the government would continue to encourage investments that would strengthen industrialization, expand labor absorption, as well as improve technology transfers. He photoshopped the development of the battery industry electric vehicles associated with nickel hilirization.

In addition, the BKPM has signed a decree along with the Ministry of Labor and the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections to give certainty in the permissions of foreign labor.

He called the process of certain permits to be targeted to be completed in five days, rather than before, which could take months.

Rosan adds a government-long investment target for a 2025- 2029 period to Rp13.032.8 trillion. The government will continue to encourage investment increase by fixing business climate and reducing uncertainty of permit.
