It's a long way to go

Retirement caused the volume of water in the number of dams continues to shrink. The Ministry of Public Works (PU) sets up a number of solutions, including through weather modification operations and setting up a reservoir pattern.

Undersecretary PU Diana Kusumastuti admitted that the long drought impacted the availability of water in the dam. Even the government is working on weather modifications to help add water supply.

In addition to weather modifications, the PU Ministry is also setting up a reservoir operating pattern to maintain water availability. This move is to organize water utilization based on each dam's operating patterns.

On the other hand, Diana ensures that the PU Ministry continues to coordinate with the Ministry of Agriculture to maintain water supply for farm land, one of which is development and improvement of irrigation networks.
