Moto3 2026: With 5 Races to Go, How Many More Points Will Veda Score?

With just five races remaining in the 2026 Moto3 season, Veda Ega Pratama still has a chance to pick up points from the rounds set to take place until the end of November.

Following the 2026 Moto3 Mandalika round, the remaining five rounds will take place in Australia, Malaysia, Qatar, Portugal and Valencia.

Although the 2026 Moto3 championship title has already been secured by Maximo Quiles, the battle for points is set to remain as fierce as in previous races.

The riders will strive to push their bikes as fast as possible to secure the maximum number of points. Veda will be aiming to do the same.

So, how many points could Veda secure in the final five races of the 2026 Moto3 season?

Veda has already secured 115 points from the 17 races completed so far. On average, Veda has scored 6.7 points per round.

Applying this formula, Veda could potentially secure 33.5 points in the final five rounds of the 2026 Moto3 season.

However, MotoGP races do not award decimal points, unless the race is stopped before reaching two-thirds of the scheduled distance, in which case a rider’s points are halved.

Generally, points for MotoGP riders are whole numbers.

Veda’s performance throughout his debut season in Moto3 has been somewhat inconsistent. His best results were podium finishes at the Moto3 races in Brazil and France.

Veda was a regular in the top ten, finishing in the top ten on ten occasions. Out of 17 races, Veda finished outside the points or outside the top 15 on only three occasions. Furthermore, Veda failed to finish on just two occasions.

His form dipped slightly after the second round of the season, but following his failure to score points at the Moto3 races in Aragon and San Marino, Veda was once again able to secure points.

Finishing sixth at the 2026 Moto3 Mandalika race was a positive sign for Veda heading into the season finale.
