The launch of Samsung Galaxy S27 Series has been reported faster, when?

Samsung is preparing for the launch of the Galaxy S27 Series which has now entered the final stage of planning. The latest rumors claim Samsung will launch the Galaxy S27 Series faster than usual.

Tipster yeux1122, in his post on the Naver platform, claims Galaxy S27 Series is scheduled to launch early January 2027. Samsung is called considering the schedule to be aligned with a competitive brand launch schedule, which probably refers to iPhone 18 launch.

That prediction is a few weeks faster than the launch of Galaxy S25 Series and Galaxy S26 Series. For your information, this year's Galaxy S26 Series was announced on February 25th and launched on March 3rd.

Along with the plan for the launch schedule, Samsung has already completed the component chooser for Galaxy S27 Series, composed of Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 +, Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra.

Galaxy Quartet S27 Series has been reported to be entering the schedule setting phase, indicating mass production is about to begin, as quote by Android Authority, Tuesday (20 / 10 / 2026).

At the same time, Samsung was facing a number of obstacles before it could begin mass production. Samsung was reported to be considering RAM upgrades and Galaxy storage S27 Pro and Ultra becoming a newer LPDDR6 and UFS 5.0.

However, this upgrade will make production costs even higher, in the midst of an endless spike in memory prices. Samsung should probably bear the increase in the production fee or burden it to consumers.

In terms of the processor, Galaxy S27 and Galaxy S27 + are rumored to be taken by Chipset Exynos 2700 for units sold outside of North America and China. Galaxy S27 Pro will likely use the Exynos 2700 Chipset and Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 depending on its country.

Meanwhile, Galaxy S27 Ultra was told to be exclusive using Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6, but this chipset was reported to have overheating problems during pre-production tests. If this continues, Galaxy S27 Ultra is likely to be targeted by Exynos 2700.
